SF Recruitment is pleased to be working in partnership with a local Nottinghamshire business who are looking to recruit a Group Statutory Reporting and Audit Manager to join the company on a 6 month FTC. The organisation are a well known employer within the Nottingham area, taking pride in offering an excellent working culture alongside attractive employee benefits propositions. About the role: The Group Reporting and Audit Manager will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of statutory financial reports for the group alongside conducting the internal audit. Main duties and responsibilities include: – Prepare and submit timely and accurate statutory financial statements for the group and its subsidiaries. – Ensure adherence to local and group accounting standards and regulatory requirements. – Liaise with external auditors for annual audits, including preparation of a timetable for the delivery of the process. – Develop and maintain financial reporting policies and procedures. – Ensure all corporate tax returns are delivered on time. – Manage group tax position and advise on complex tax matters including local and international tax position. – Production of RDEC returns. – Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and accounting standards. – Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards, and assess their impact on the group’s financial reporting.
