Working with a brand new Client in the Tyldesley area I am looking to recruit an FP&A Manager. This is a very exciting opportunity for someone to join a business during a time growth and development. If successful in this role you will gain hands on experience with a PE backed business and be a key part of the changes. As FP&A Manager the role will oversee management reporting, preparing management accounts and ensuring compliance with group policies whilst also provided insightful financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting to enhance business performance. The FP&A Manager will play a key part in in financial reporting, analysis, financial accuracy whilst looking to improve internal processes and achieve financial goals Duties will include: – Manage management accounting and reporting across multiple entities. – Prepare management accounts with variance analysis against budget/forecast, providing commentary to senior management. – Ensure timely month-end reporting and Balance Sheet reconciliations for all entities. – Reconcile intercompany balances at month-end, ensuring proper invoices or journals for all transactions. – Assist in the development, maintenance, and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives. – Perform cost analysis, identifying opportunities for cost-saving and operational efficiencies. – Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions. – Assist in year-end audits, preparing supporting schedules and addressing auditor queries. – Support group auditors by providing documentation and responses to audit queries. – Continuously improve and streamline management reporting processes and systems to enhance efficiency. – Assist and support the Group Finance team with ad hoc project work as required. – Work closely with department heads, providing financial guidance and support to monitor performance. – Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, providing training and development as necessary. – Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial records and systems To be considered for this role you will need to be CIMA qualified and have 3-5 years post qual experience producing Management Accounts. You will need to have strong manufacturing experience. As an individual you will need to be an analytical thinker who an interpret complex financial data and develop financial models as well as analyse cost structures and support decision making. You will need to have strong attention to detail and be used to working in a very fast paced and demanding environment.
