My client is a private equity backed services business based in Cheshire. This newly created position is being recruited on a permanent basis to head up one of their new divisions, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a finance leadership position with a growing subsidiary where you will be heavily involved with the strategic aspect of the growth.
As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for providing a full comprehensive accounting service for the new division within the group. This will involve all month end activities including:
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Providing commentary on performance
- Analysing variances
- Producing profit and loss reports
- Completing budgeting and forecasting
- Processing accruals, pre-payments and journals
You will also be involved with strategic aspects of growing the business, and business partnering with various key stakeholders both financial and non-financial. This role will suit a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant who has a solid grounding of financial accounting as well as exposure to the commercial side of industry. Previous experience in a high volume, low margin environment would be highly advantageous to enable you to have a good eye for detail in this type of business.
The salary on offer is paying up to £55,000 dependant on experience and qualification with an attractive benefits package that includes the ability to work on a hybrid basis. This opportunity enables you to join a PE backed, rapidly growing business where you will head up the finance function and your role will grow with it.
