SF Recruitment are looking to hire a Project Coordinator to join our client in Mansfield to assist with their continually expanding operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the activities of a project team, supporting the successful delivery of high quality projects (on-time, within budget and scope)
- Develop and refine project plans and report on project status
- Lead external client engagement (up to C Level)
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to define business and technical requirements
- Communicate technical details and requirements with the project team and serve as a liaison between the management and the project teams
- Ensure regular, timely communication occurs between project team and stakeholders, and proactive escalation of project issues and risks
- Help identify deficiencies in processes and procedures that impede the smooth delivery of projects
- Promote PM best practices throughout all stages of the project and within and beyond your own department/team(s)
- Lead process improvement activities that significantly improve delivery of projects
- Discover, monitor and mitigate project risks using appropriate risk management practices
- Collaborate with other Project Coordinators, PMs, Sponsors and resource managers to resolve any resource or priority conflicts
- Perform other ad hoc duties as directed by management.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years experience working in a Project Management/Coordination capacity within the software/technology industry
- Relevant Project Management certification (APM/PRINCE2/PMI/CSM)
- Adept at managing projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Self-starter with excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills
- Quick learner with the ability to understand technical concepts
- Experience working in diverse, highly technical organisations
- Knowledge and understanding of energy and/or financial markets
