We are working with a dynamic and forward-thinking company to find an exceptional Finance Manager. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role is pivotal to ensuring financial compliance, efficiency, and strategic planning.
As the Finance Manager, you'll lead the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams, manage month-end and year-end processes, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. You'll also work closely with external audit partners, handle payroll processes, and ensure government returns (including VAT and Intrastat) are managed effectively.
Beyond compliance and reporting, you'll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management, offering insights to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing month-end/year-end close processes in line with accounting standards.
Overseeing payroll and managing government returns (VAT, Intrastat).
Supervising external audits and statutory filings.
Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
Managing cash flow forecasting, payments, and banking functions.
Leading and developing the AR and AP teams.
About You:
Qualifications: CIMA/ACCACA-qualified.
Experience: Background in managing financial processes, with a strong understanding of compliance and reporting standards.
Tech Skills: Advanced Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
Attributes: Highly organised, deadline-focused, and detail-oriented.
