Job Description Divisional Finance Director: Birmingham /n Manufacturing Division | £1bn Turnover | Multi-Site UK & Ireland /n A leading, privately owned manufacturing group is seeking an outstanding Divisional Finance Director to lead finance across its £1bn turnover manufacturing division, spanning multiple product categories and sites. /n Reporting to the Divisional Managing Director and working closely with the Group CFO, you will be a key member of the divisional leadership team, combining strategic leadership with hands-on commercial and operational finance. Your remit will include: /n Leading planning, forecasting, reporting, capex governance, cash flow and financial control across a complex multi-site footprint /n Driving commercial finance, including customer and product profitability, pricing, cost recovery and inflation pass-through /n Partnering with operations to improve yield, labour efficiency, waste, OEE and inventory control /n Challenging and appraising major tenders, automation investments, M&A and transformation programmes /n Leading and developing a high-performing team of divisional financial controllers /n You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with proven Finance Director experience in large-scale manufacturing and a track record in businesses of £100m+ turnover. You will have led finance teams across multiple sites, delivered cost optimisation and transformation, and gained experience of ERP and systems improvements. /n Private equity or listed company exposure is advantageous. /n Influential, analytical and results-driven, you will have the credibility to challenge and support senior operational and commercial leaders in a fast-paced environment. /n Working pattern: This is a hands-on, visible leadership role.
