The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Sales Engineer to be part of an expanding team with a well-established business who supply into the construction industry. This role could also suit a Product Support Engineer / Project Engineer / Technical Support Engineer.
Scope of role:
- Oversee a portfolio of projects, with a strong customer focus.
- Work closely with the design team to ensure drawings will meet customer expectations.
- Ensure all project documentation is updated and present in the project folder.
- Offer technical support to both existing & new customer queries, demonstrating a high level of technical / engineering knowledge.
- Work with production to ensure drawings are issued in time and are accurate to reduce non-conformance issues.
- Work with design, production & customer to ensure agreed timelines are being met.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring they are consistently delivered within expected cost, quality and timeframe.
- Hold regular review & update meetings with customers.
The Product Support Engineer:
- From an engineering, construction or building products background.
- Can demonstrate project management skills with some industry experience (dependant on level).
- Confident communicator with a passion for delivering high levels of technical support and project guidance.
- Ambitious, with the desire to work to a high level of competency and project management (with support and training).
- Strong utiliser of IT tools to effectively manage time well.
- A UK driving licence would be highly desirable - there is the need for occasional customer visits.
