SF Recruitment is thrilled to be partnering with a highly recognisable organisation based in Leicester in their search for a Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner. This role is an excellent opportunity for a finalist or newly qualified accountant seeking the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will bring experience from an FMCG or manufacturing environment and possess strong operational finance expertise. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting business performance and decision-making.
Management Accounting Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily reports, including labour and material variance analysis.
- Produce weekly accounts, including purchase price variance (PPV) reporting, material variance analysis, and labour reporting.
- Perform general ledger duties such as journals, accruals, and prepayments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts and undertake ad-hoc financial duties as required.
- Support product costing and analysis activities for new product development (NPD).
- Conduct stock analysis, reconciliations, and maintain provisions / write-offs.
- Reconcile key balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare overhead budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
