We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a growing and supportive finance team based in South Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong transactional finance experience who is looking to develop their skills further within a well-structured environment. You will report into a supportive Finance Director and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the finance function.
Key responsibilities:
- Ownership of the debtors ledger, ensuring customer accounts are accurate and up to date
- Recording and processing sales invoices
- Managing credit control activities
- Transactional postings across rental accounts
- Bank reconciliations
- Purchase invoice processing and payments
- Sales ledger invoices and receipts
What We're Looking For:
- Has experience in a Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant / Credit Control role
- Is confident managing sales ledger and transactional finance processes
- Has strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Is comfortable working across multiple accounts or entities
- Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero or similar would be advantageous
- Is proactive, reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
