Senior Credit Controller Tamworth (office based) 5+ years B2B Credit experience required £32,000 – £33,700 SF recruitment are working in partnership with UK market leader, with over 60 brands across it business. They are currently going through a lot of change brought about though growth, one of which is having a 7 figure refurbishment of it’s offices in Tamworth aswell as investment into training and new systems. The Credit function is a high performing and proactive team, reporting into a Credit Manager. You will take ownership of your own ledger, end to end ledger management. Your new role – Responsible for managing 2 diverse ledgers – Proactive credit control, resolving queries before due date – Chasing up customers for outstanding payments, ensuring prompt payment – Daily bank reconciliation and cash allocation, keeping ontop of any unallocated payments – Maintaining and updates customer records, running credit checks and reviews – Setting up new accounts and credit vetting them – Looking at ways to improve processes – Liaising with internal departments to best resolve queries and keep customer service to a high level – Meeting month end and year end deadlines What you’ll need – Previous experience in a AR/Credit department – Strong communication & organisational skills – Strong negotiation skills – Good systems skills including Excel – AAT/CICM qualification is desired but not essential What you’ll get in return – Training and development in the role – 25 days annual leave increasing with service – Competitive salary and quarterly bonuses – Newly fitted offices and free parking – Study Support – Enhanced pension and life assurance Salary: up to £33,700 depending on experience Hours: 8-5 Mon-Friday (1 hour lunch) JBRP1_UKTJ
