SF Recruitment are working with a global manufacturing company based in Redditch, to recruit a manager to lead & oversee all warehouse operations on site. The role would suit a seasoned manager who has experience leading large warehouse teams & supervisors, as well as bringing about efficiencies via lean & layout improvements. Manufacturing experience desirable but not essential. Generous benefits package. Job Description Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures. Risk Assessments are in place and there is a requirement to keep these up to date. Create and implement best practice principles in line with working policies and procedures for warehouse activities and ensure all systems are up to date, to meet the standards for accreditation in line with the quality systems which are followed by the team. Manage any internal and external audits linked to the warehouse. Maintain a high 5S standard of warehouse and yard. Management of all employees within the department. Developing the skills and competencies of all warehouse staff members enabling a flexible workforce.
