SF Recruitment have partnered with an organisation near Edgbaston who are recruiting a Procurement Officer (Digital Imaging) on a temporary contract for approximately 12 months. Responsibilities will include: General – Lead on the end-to-end procurement of the Converged Digital Imaging Platform. – Develop an IT procurement strategy and implementation of the agreed strategy. – Lead on and manage the complex procurement/tender exercises, including the creation of tender and contract documentation – Provide specialist procurement knowledge including expert knowledge of all relevant commodities and supply markets. – Support as required with arrangements to facilitate the co-operation between WMIN Trusts and the execution of the required commercial strategy and contract such as MOUs/Collaboration agreements Digital Category Knowledge The individual must be a Digital Procurement Specialist with in-depth knowledge of supplier technology and services in the marketplace. – Acquisition of software, hardware, maintenance/support and services for Clinical IT Systems including PACS/RIS solutions. – Acquisition of on premise and cloud business applications – Previous experience in working with big name Clinical IT suppliers – Actively lead colleagues through all steps of the procurement and sourcing processes, to ensure best value for money is achieved and risks are identified and mitigated. – Commercial Gui…
