I'm supporting a PE-backed business that is looking to appoint its first dedicated M&A hire. The business has grown strongly through organic growth and is now looking to accelerate this through acquisition. Working closely with the CEO, CFO and investors, you will be responsible for helping build and deliver the acquisition strategy.

The role will focus heavily on the front end of the deal process. This includes identifying opportunities, building relationships with business owners, developing acquisition pipelines and managing transactions through to completion.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Building and managing a pipeline of acquisition targets.
  • Developing relationships with founders, owners and advisers.
  • Identifying and assessing acquisition opportunities.
  • Leading commercial discussions and negotiations.
  • Managing transactions from initial approach through to completion.
  • Working closely with the executive team and investors.
  • Supporting integration activity following acquisition.

We're interested in speaking with individuals who have experience working within acquisitive, high-growth or PE-backed businesses and have a track record of sourcing and delivering acquisitions.
