Temporary Governance Administrator - 3 Days Per Week
Duration: Temporary, initially 3 months+
Hours: 3 days per week
Location: Warwick
We are currently looking for an experienced Governance Administrator to provide temporary support following the departure of our current Governance Manager. The role will provide essential administrative and governance support while the organisation reviews the longer-term structure of the position. The successful candidate will need to be organised, confident and able to work independently, with excellent attention to detail.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing general governance and administrative support
- Arranging governance meetings and coordinating diaries
- Preparing meeting agendas and relevant documentation
- Attending meetings and taking accurate minutes
- Circulating minutes and following up on agreed actions
- Supporting the preparation and organisation of the AGM in November
- Maintaining governance records and documentation
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and ensuring key deadlines are met
- Picking up any other governance-related tasks required during the transition period
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a governance, administration, company secretarial or similar role
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Experience arranging meetings and taking minutes
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- A professional and confident approach when dealing with senior stakeholders
- The ability to work independently and hit the ground running
