SF Recruitment are looking for a Property Accountant on a permanent basis for a fantastic client of ours based in Birmingham. This is an exciting role for an individual who is a technical accountant with strong experience in the Property sector. My client welcomes qualified ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience candidates. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties include:
- Property accounts, including rates, rents and service charge
- Fixed asset accounting and reporting
- Management of asset registers
- Lease accounting in line with IFRS 16
- Depreciation calculations and journal postings
- Month-end reporting support
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Liaising with auditors and stakeholders on asset-related queries
