SF Recruitment are looking for a Property Accountant on a permanent basis for a fantastic client of ours based in Birmingham. This is an exciting role for an individual who is a technical accountant with strong experience in the Property sector. My client welcomes qualified ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience candidates. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties include:

  • Property accounts, including rates, rents and service charge
  • Fixed asset accounting and reporting
  • Management of asset registers
  • Lease accounting in line with IFRS 16
  • Depreciation calculations and journal postings
  • Month-end reporting support
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Liaising with auditors and stakeholders on asset-related queries
