SF Engineering are recruiting a Service Engineer to join our established manufacturing client. The successful candidate will be responsible for aftermarket servicing, repair, upgrading and commissioning of products sold to customers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Aftermarket servicing and repair of equipment, both on customer sites worldwide and in the Service workshop.
  • General inspection and testing.
  • Measuring and recording values of resistance and insulation.
  • Ensuring all associated wiring and protective devices are to current legislation.
  • Live electrical load testing.
  • Documenting all associated information electronically and producing detailed reports to submit to customers.
  • Assisting in product development and partaking in regular product review meetings.
  • Commissioning new equipment on site worldwide.
  • Assisting other departments when required in testing both new Production and Rental equipment.
  • Assisting customers with urgent issues by providing technical assistance by phone or other media to help resolve urgent site breakdowns.
  • Booking associated flights, hotels and hire cars where required.
  • Assisting with any Warranty matters by providing technical help to both colleagues and directly to customers.
