What You'll Be Doing:
- As the financial lead across a portfolio of major projects, you'll provide the commercial insight and financial governance that enables projects to be delivered successfully, on time and profitably.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of the financial performance of multiple large-scale projects from contract award through to completion.
- Delivering robust forecasting, budgeting, cost control and profitability analysis.
- Partnering closely with Project Managers and operational leaders to influence commercial decisions and maximise project performance.
- Identifying financial risks and opportunities, providing proactive solutions to improve outcomes.
- Monitoring cash flow, revenue recognition, working capital and project margins.
- Ensuring best-in-class financial governance, controls and compliance across the project portfolio.
- Supporting contract reviews, change management and commercial negotiations.
- Producing insightful financial analysis and reporting that supports strategic decision-making at senior leadership level.
About You:
You'll be an ambitious finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, project-driven environment and building strong relationships across the business. We're looking for:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Proven experience as a Project Controller, Project Finance Manager, Commercial Finance Manager or Project Accountant.
- Experience within infrastructure, engineering, EPC, renewable energy, utilities, construction, manufacturing or other complex project-based organisations.
- Strong expertise in project accounting, forecasting, financial modelling and commercial reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge, influence and add value.
- A proactive, commercially focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously.
