An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced tax professional to join a growing international organisation as Head of Tax & Treasury. This is a senior, Group-level position with primary responsibility for leading the organisation's tax strategy, governance, compliance and risk management across a complex international and multi-entity environment. The role will combine strategic leadership with hands-on involvement and would suit an established Head of Tax or an experienced Senior/Group Tax Manager looking to take the next step in their career.

The role

  • Leading the Group's tax strategy, governance and risk-management framework
  • Overseeing UK and international corporate tax compliance and reporting
  • Managing tax provisions, current and deferred tax reporting and related disclosures
  • Leading transfer pricing policies, documentation and intercompany arrangements
  • Advising on cross-border transactions, international expansion and changes to legal or operating structures
  • Supporting acquisitions, including tax due diligence, structuring and post-deal integration
  • Monitoring international tax developments and assessing their impact on the Group
  • Managing relationships with external tax advisers and relevant tax authorities
  • Developing robust, scalable tax processes, controls and reporting
  • Providing clear, commercially focused advice to senior stakeholders
  • Oversight of the existing treasury function and team

The person

We are looking for an experienced tax professional with a strong background in corporate and international tax gained within a complex organisation or professional practice. You are likely to bring:

  • A recognised professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent
  • Significant post-qualification experience within corporate tax
  • Experience working within an international, multi-entity environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax and tax accounting
  • Experience of international tax, transfer pricing and cross-border matters
  • The ability to manage external advisers and coordinate tax requirements across multiple jurisdictions
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to communicate complex tax matters to non-tax stakeholders
  • Experience of acquisitions, tax due diligence or post-deal integration would be advantageous
  • Previous experience within a growing, acquisitive or evolving organisation would also be beneficial

Salary: Up to £90,000 (DOE)

Bonus: 10%

Location: Warwickshire

Working pattern: Hybrid – 3 days per week on site
