SF Engineering are currently supporting a Precision Manufacturing business based in Redditch. With over 50 years of engineering heritage, specialising in metal pressings, stampings, springs and weld assemblies, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer for a similar industry. Across the shop floor, there are over 80 machines which range from CNC, high speed presses, hand presses, spring and wire forming. With aggressive growth plans in mind for the next 3 years, it's an exciting time to join the business.
This will be a hands-on role which will require you working on your own and within a team. You will need to keep the manufacturing facility running, support PPM schedules and work closely with production to understand the needs of the business. Mechanical and Electrical experience is required of the successful Maintenance Engineer to attend every breakdown efficiently.
What we are looking for in the successful Maintenance Engineer:
- Recognised electrical engineering qualification - City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, HND/HNC or apprenticed trained
- Electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
- Strong mechanical and pneumatic maintenance knowledge
- Experience working to a PPM schedule, self-managed, keeping accurate records.
Desirable experience for the role:
- IOSH managing safely
- Power press experience
- Experience maintaining CNC machinery
In return you'll work a 4 day week Monday to Thursday 39 hours, Fridays are set aside for additional PPM's or overtime paid at time and a third. You'll also be enrolled into a company pension, health plan scheme with a starting salary of up to £45,000.
