Job Description Management Accountant - 6 Month FTC Contract: 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract Start: ASAP I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established business on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on role within a busy finance function and would suit somebody who enjoys taking ownership of their work, working closely with the wider business and getting involved across all areas of management accounting. Due to the nature of the role and the interaction required with the wider business, this position will be fully office-based, five days per week. Preparation of monthly management accounts Balance sheet reconciliations Variance analysis with clear commentary Preparation of monthly management information Cash flow reporting and analysis Providing financial analysis to support business decisions Supporting year-end and external audit requirements Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc projects and analysis You'll be an experienced Management Accountant with a strong understanding of the full month-end process and the confidence to take ownership of your responsibilities from day one. You'll ideally be part-qualified, qualified by experience or actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA, although strong practical experience will be equally considered. You'll need strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Previous experience joining a business on an FTC or interim basis and getting up to speed quickly would be particularly advantageous. 6-month fixed-term contract 5 days per week on-site Full-time ASAP start This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant who is immediately available or on a short notice period and looking for their next assignment.
