To produce accurate financial information and reporting to assess performance and make good decisions through ensuring there are appropriate financial controls in place and all accounting and reporting is compliant with statutory and regulatory frameworks, whilst upholding business culture and ethics.
- Group consolidation and preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Deliver half year and full year statutory reporting for the plc and all local statutory entities.
- Ensuring compliance with all financial reporting standards and technical updates, and advising on interpretation and implementation of new regulatory and reporting standards.
- Ensure there are appropriate financial controls and accurate reporting across the Group.
- Production of timely, accurate and reliable monthly board reports, setting out relevant financial information and insight.
- Work alongside sales and operational departments, providing reporting, information and insight that enable senior management team and key stakeholders to make informed decisions and drive business strategy and control costs.
- Always look for ways to improve and streamline the reporting and processes.
- Providing support and training in relation to technical accounting policies and interpretation for finance colleagues across the Group, as necessary.
