A UK-based manufacturing business is looking to hire an Infrastructure Engineer to lead on modernising its core infrastructure. You will take ownership of the organisation’s infrastructure environment, helping to improve legacy systems and deliver a more secure, resilient and scalable technology platform. You will improve patching, monitoring, backup and recovery processes while helping establish practical infrastructure standards and security controls. You will also play an important role in supporting cyber security compliance, working with internal stakeholders and external technology partners to reduce risk and improve the overall reliability of the environment. You will have strong experience supporting and improving Microsoft infrastructure, and also bring solid networking knowledge alongside hands-on experience of infrastructure migrations or modernisation. Experience working with Cyber Essentials or similar security controls is highly desirable, as is PowerShell automation.
