SF Engineering are seeking a detail-oriented Internal QC Inspector to ensure that products, processes, and workmanship meet internal quality standards and customer requirements. The role is responsible for inspection, documentation, and supporting continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-process and final inspections of products, components, and assemblies
  • Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality standards
  • Identify, record, and report non-conformances
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation
  • Liaise with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues
  • Ensure measuring and inspection equipment is used correctly and calibrated
  • Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Promote a strong quality and safety culture on site

Skills & Experience

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Good understanding of welding processes
  • Familiar with or qualified to PCN, CSWIP welding inspection
  • Knowledge of inspection techniques and quality tools
  • Experience using measuring equipment (e.g. verniers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
