SF Partners are delighted to be partnering with a leading international organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant into a high-profile finance function supporting operations across multiple countries. This position would suit an experienced Financial Accountant looking for their next challenge, but it also represents an excellent opportunity for a first-time mover from practice (Big 4 or Top 20) looking to make their first move into industry. You'll gain broad exposure across financial reporting, controls, cash management, audit and process improvement while working with stakeholders across an international business.

The Role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations across multiple international entities. Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing financial accounting activities across several international entities.
  • Producing accurate reporting, forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Maintaining robust financial controls over cash and debtor movements.
  • Monitoring daily cash flows and overseeing relationships with international payment providers.
  • Managing foreign exchange costs and identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies.
  • Supporting VAT compliance and ensuring financial processes remain compliant with changing regulations.
  • Coordinating multi-entity external audits and working closely with auditors.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across finance and the wider business.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the finance team.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.

You’ll ideally have:

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • Previous audit and financial reporting experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • The ability to work across multiple entities and manage competing priorities.
