Credit & Risk Analyst in Leicester

Senior Credit Risk Analyst Location: Leicestershire | Hybrid Salary: Competitive + Benefits SF Recruitment is working with an established and successful business to recruit a Senior Credit Risk Analyst into their Finance team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Credit Risk professional who enjoys getting into the detail of financials, assessing higher-value exposures and providing commercially balanced recommendations. Working closely with the Head of Credit, you'll be responsible for: Reviewing financial statements, management accounts and wider financial information Assessing creditworthiness and identifying potential financial or trading risks Managing a portfolio of higher-value credit exposures Making recommendations around credit limits and risk Supporting annual and ad-hoc credit reviews Producing monthly credit risk reporting and MI Identifying trends, emerging risks and areas requiring action Engaging directly with customers/members and their Finance teams Supporting improvements across credit processes, controls and reporting We're looking for someone with: Strong Credit Risk, Credit Control or wider financial risk experience Confidence analysing financial statements and management accounts Strong commercial judgement and analytical skills Advanced Excel and confidence working with financial data The ability to communicate and influence senior stakeholders A proactive, organised and hands-on approach A CICM qualification would be advantageous but isn't essential where there is strong relevant experience. This would suit someone looking for a more analytical, commercially focused Credit Risk position with genuine ownership and exposure to senior stakeholders
