SF Partners are supporting a brilliant Staffordshire based business in recruiting a Stock and Inventory Planner.
Working pattern: full time hybrid
Salary: up to 35,000
This role is responsible for ensuring products are available when needed by maintaining optimal inventory levels and placing and managing supplier orders to support operational continuity and maximise sales.
- Plan, schedule and monitor stock requirements to ensure product availability and fulfil customer demand.
- Analyse sales trends, forecasts and inventory data using internal reporting to determine future stock requirements.
- Maintain inventory within agreed stock targets, balancing product availability with cost efficiency.
- Monitor stock performance, identifying slow-moving, excess and obsolete inventory, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, planning data and reporting systems.
- Manage reorder points, safety stock levels and inventory planning parameters to optimise replenishment.
- Raise purchase orders and coordinate deliveries with both UK and international suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance, tracking orders and proactively managing potential delays or shortages.
- Build effective relationships with category managers, warehouse teams, finance and suppliers to ensure stock availability.
- Produce regular inventory, purchasing and planning reports, highlighting key trends and risks.
