SF Partners are supporting a loyal client who are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join a busy manufacturing team based in Heanor. This is a full-time, site-based opportunity starting on a temporary basis, with a view to becoming permanent for the right person.

The role will support day-to-day production operations, helping to ensure stock and materials are managed effectively and the working environment remains clean, organised and safe.

Duties will include:

  • Receiving and dispatching goods
  • Moving, handling and organising stock and materials
  • Maintaining an orderly stock management process throughout the facility
  • General housekeeping and keeping internal and external work areas clean and tidy
  • Assisting with the correct disposal of waste
  • Supporting general production and operative duties as required
  • Following site health and safety procedures at all times

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience within a general operative, warehouse, manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience operating forklift trucks or Overhead Cranes, valid certificates required
  • Physically fit and comfortable working within a hands-on role
  • Reliable, organised and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive attitude towards health and safety
  • Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, would be advantageous

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm £12.71 – £13 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
