Financial Accountant
Location: Hybrid - 2 days in the office, 3 days from home
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Benefits
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the wider finance function.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Assisting with statutory accounts and year‑end audit
- Balance sheet reconciliations and month‑end close
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Working closely with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls
About You
- ACA qualified (or newly qualified)
- Currently working in practice and looking to make your first move into industry
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Experience working with a varied client portfolio and statutory reporting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, organised and keen to develop your career in a commercial environment
