About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well‑established and growing business based in NN3, who are looking to appoint an experienced Account Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual to manage and grow existing customer relationships while contributing to overall revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and build strong relationships with key customers
  • Understand client needs and deliver the right products and services
  • Follow up on leads, proposals, quotations, and send out samples
  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts through upselling and cross‑selling
  • Handle day‑to‑day queries and resolve customer issues efficiently
  • Arrange and attend customer meetings (both on‑site and in the field)
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in account management or B2B sales within a buy‑sell environment
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Highly organised, proactive, and confident dealing with customers
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft 365

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Sales targets achieved
  • Meaningful Selling Interactions (MSIs)
  • Deals won
