Qualified Management Accountant Temporary to Permanent | South London | Hybrid (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home)
SF Partners are delighted to be partnering with a fast-paced, growing business to recruit a Qualified Management Accountant for a temporary-to-permanent opportunity. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded hands-on accountant to join the business during an exciting period while covering a secondment, with the view to securing a permanent position.
This role is suited to a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) who can hit the ground running and is available immediately or at short notice.
The Role
You will take ownership of the monthly finance cycle, providing accurate financial reporting and commercial insight to support business decision-making. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Leading the month-end close process
- Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Posting journals and ensuring financial accuracy
- Variance analysis with clear commentary
- Opex and Capex reporting and analysis
- Revenue reporting and commercial performance analysis
- Supporting the Finance Director with strategic financial projects and ad hoc analysis
About You
To be considered, you will:
- Be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Have previous experience in a Management Accountant or Finance Manager position within a commercial business
- Be confident producing a full set of management accounts with minimal supervision
- Possess strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Be proactive, commercially focused and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
- Be available immediately or at short notice
