Accounts Assistant required for a new and exciting permanent opportunity working for a small but well established business based on the outskirts of Coventry. You will be working as part of a small friendly finance team and be responsible for the day to day running of the accounting function for the business.
Your daily duties will include:
- Purchase ledger
- Sales ledger
- Credit control
- Bank reconciliations
- Cashbooks
- Expenses
- VAT returns
- Posting journals
- Prepayments and accruals
- Assisting with management accounts
My client is looking for an AAT qualified accounts assistant who has worked in a small accounting team and is able to adopt a hands-on approach and help wherever required. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and vlookups.
This is an office-based role so would suit someone based in Coventry, but my client is offering very flexible hours, 25 days holiday, company pension and bonus.
