  • Strong schematic and multi-layer PCB design experience, ideally Altium
  • Strong analogue and power electronics skills
  • High-voltage and safety-critical circuit experience
  • High-speed digital design and signal-integrity knowledge
  • DFM/DFT and production test experience
  • BOM, wiring and harness experience
  • Hands-on prototyping, soldering, rework and board bring-up
  • Strong fault-finding and root-cause debugging skills

A 2:1 or above degree in electronics, electrical engineering or a related discipline is preferred, although exceptional candidates without this background will be considered.

What you will know:

Ideally, you will also have experience with:

  • Bluetooth/Wi-Fi antenna integration and radio compliance
  • SoM/MCU selection
  • EMC and grounding
  • Thermal management
  • Safe high-voltage/mains working
  • Electronics certification and compliance
  • Production test and manufacturing requirements

The person behind the experience:

We are looking for someone who wants to join early and help build something. You will be comfortable in a fast-moving environment where processes are still being developed. You will take ownership, solve problems from first principles, get hands-on with hardware and care about getting things right. You will not wait for someone else to solve a problem. You will find the root cause, make a decision and get it done.
