Senior Credit Risk Analyst

SF Recruitment is working with an established and successful business to recruit a Senior Credit Risk Analyst into their Finance team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Credit Risk professional who enjoys getting into the detail of financials, assessing higher-value exposures and providing commercially balanced recommendations.
Working closely with the Head of Credit, you'll be responsible for:
- Reviewing financial statements, management accounts and wider financial information
- Assessing creditworthiness and identifying potential financial or trading risks
- Managing a portfolio of higher-value credit exposures
- Making recommendations around credit limits and risk
- Supporting annual and ad-hoc credit reviews
- Producing monthly credit risk reporting and MI
- Identifying trends, emerging risks and areas requiring action
- Engaging directly with customers/members and their Finance teams
- Supporting improvements across credit processes, controls and reporting
We're looking for someone with:
- Strong Credit Risk, Credit Control or wider financial risk experience
- Confidence analysing financial statements and management accounts
- Strong commercial judgement and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel and confidence working with financial data
- The ability to communicate and influence senior stakeholders
- A proactive, organised and hands-on approach
A CICM qualification would be advantageous but isn't essential where there is strong relevant experience.
This would suit someone looking for a more analytical, commercially focused Credit Risk position with genuine ownership and exposure to senior stakeholders.
