Financial Controller
SF Partners are delighted to be working with a superb organisation in the recruitment of a Financial Controller.
Please note this role is office based.
Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a new role to support a growing business, overseeing a small team.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Ownership of month-end processes and reporting
- Accruals, prepayments and journal postings
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Variance analysis with clear commentary
- Preparation of monthly management information
- Cash flow reporting and analysis
- Working closely with budget holders and operational stakeholders
- Providing financial analysis to support business decisions
- Supporting year-end and external audit requirements
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc projects and analysis
The ideal candidate:
You'll ideally be qualified ACA/ACMA/CIMA
Strong Excel skills and an interest in data analysis
