I am currently supporting a successful, privately owned SME to recruit a Fractional CFO.

This is a broad and influential role, working closely with the owner and senior leadership team to support the as it continues to grow.

The successful candidate will bring financial rigour, commercial insight and the experience needed to help a growing SME scale effectively.

  • The Fractional CFO will provide strategic and hands-on support across areas including:
  • Supporting the business through its next phase of growth and development
  • Strengthening financial processes, controls and governance
  • Improving management information, KPIs, budgeting and forecasting
  • Providing insight around profitability, cash flow and working capital
  • Supporting strategic and commercial decision-making
  • Identifying opportunities to improve operational and financial performance
  • Advise the owner in regards to potential M&A activities
  • Supporting the owner, where appropriate, across their personal investment portfolio

I am looking for an experienced CFO or Finance Director who has operated successfully within a growing SME, ideally within an industrial, manufacturing, engineering or other product-based environment.

You will be commercially astute, pragmatic and comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels.
