SF Partners is working exclusively with a rapidly growing, privately owned group to recruit a newly created Financial Controller position. The business is entering an exciting period of significant growth and development, supported by a strong pipeline and ambitious plans for the coming years.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will take day-to-day ownership of the finance function while playing a key role in developing the financial infrastructure, systems and reporting required to support the next stage of growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys improving and developing a finance function, with the autonomy to shape a newly created role and make a visible impact across the wider business.

The Role

  • Day-to-day responsibility for the finance function
  • Production of monthly consolidated management accounts
  • Ownership and execution of the annual budgeting process
  • Development and maintenance of rolling forecasts
  • Management of the financial audit and tax processes
  • Development of system-generated reporting, dashboards and KPIs
  • Ownership of the 13-week rolling cash flow forecast
