SF Technology is recruiting a NOC Team Leader for a growing managed services organisation in Bolton. This role is focused on people, process, and service delivery within a Network Operations environment, not technical leadership.
The Role
You'll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the NOC, ensuring the team operates effectively, SLAs are met, and customers receive a high standard of service. Working alongside technical specialists, your focus will be on team leadership, operational performance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of NOC engineers
- Oversee daily operations (tickets, incidents, escalations)
- Drive SLA performance and structured processes
- Improve customer experience and communication
- Ensure smooth handovers and operational continuity
- Produce operational and service reports
- Embed best practices and support new tools/systems
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a NOC, MSP, ISP, or service operations environment
- Proven team leadership / mentoring experience
- Strong understanding of incident management and SLAs
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
- Organised, process-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Technical: Understanding of network operations / connectivity
- Familiarity with Cisco or similar technologies beneficial
- Deep technical expertise not required
Additional Info
- Monday–Friday (40 hours)

- Must meet UK residency requirements (5+ years) for security clearance
