SF Engineering are currently working with a Precision Manufacturing business who are looking to hire an experienced Quality Engineer.

This is a key figure within the business to help drive continuous improvement and be the face both internally and with customers.

You'll play an active role in ensure internal audits are hit, work closely with NPI processes to make sure quality requirements are understood and implemented efficiently and on time.

Build a strong working relationship with operations, shop floor production and suppliers.

To be successful within the Quality Engineer position it is essential you are able to demonstrate: - Creation of QA documents (FAIR, Quality plans, Inspection & testing) - Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings - Ability to motivate and lead a variety of teams across the business - Working knowledge of PPAP and Root Cause Analysis - Working knowledge of machining processes which will include both CNC & Conventional (Milling, Lathes & Drilling)

Other skills and requirements that would be an advantage: - CMM Programming - Be able to work alone as well as in a team environment - Have worked with both internal and external quality teams - Be able to minimise scrap and measure this on a regular basis.

In return we are able to offer you a competitive renumeration including a salary of Circa £45,000, pension, bonus along with other company benefits.

This position is working a days shift, with an early finish on a Friday.
