SF are excited to be partnering exclusively with a business based in Mansfield who are looking for a Management Accountant on a full time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to work in a flexible business with a fantastic working environment. This role is open to qualified by experience, AAT qualified or further.

Salary up to £42,000

  • 1 day working from home
  • Flexible working hours: 8am - 4pm, 8:30am - 4:30pm, 9am - 5pm

Job duties:

  • Producing monthly management accounts and reports, ensuring VAT rules are correctly applied across all transactions
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, year-end accounts preparation, and quarterly VAT returns
  • Carrying out balance sheet and bank reconciliations, sometimes within strict timelines
  • Preparing monthly financial reporting packs for the Senior Management Team
  • Liaising with auditors and supporting statutory returns
  • Monitoring VAT inputs across sales and purchase ledgers
  • Working closely with budget holders to provide financial insight and support
  • Assisting with financial modelling, programme costing, and reconciliations

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Proven experience in a similar position and able to prepare a set of management accounts
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good excel and system skills
  • Team player
