Senior Software Engineer with a multi-language background and experience utilising AI to drive efficiency and scalability is sought on a remote basis by a market leading Fintech. With recent investment, this Senior Software Engineer will be joining a dynamic, autonomous team of 10 tasked with scaling new product functionality and greenfield solutions. Proven experience working in a product led, fast paced start or scale up would be hugely beneficial.
This role would suit an experienced software engineer who is a heavy AI advocate (we are looking for Engineers who relish 5x'ing their output using AI year on year) whilst maintaining classic engineering standards to build greenfield solutions that quickly solve business problems.
In return, this Senior Software Engineer can expect a highly autonomous, innovation first team environment with the flexibility to work remotely whilst being offered a clear progression pathway as the team scales.
This Senior Software Engineer should have most of the following key skills:
- Strong commercial software engineering experience - Go, Python, Typescript, Node etc.
- An AI advocate with a proven record of utilising AI tooling to drive production efficiencies - Claude code
- Solid rational database exposure - MySQL, Postgres
- A well rounded skill set in streaming systems - Kafka, Kinesis etc.
- Strong AWS deployment exposure
- A product focussed, business first approach to engineering
- Experience working in a fast paced product lead environment
- Any experience working in a FinTech or regulated industry
- Cloud native architecture exposure - AWS massively preferred
- Solid pipeline automation skills (CI/CD)
In return, this Senior Software Engineer will receive:
