The Role

Reporting directly to senior finance leadership, the Financial Reporting Manager will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting wider business performance. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation and review of statutory accounts
  • Managing month-end and year-end reporting processes
  • Ensuring compliance with IFRS/UK GAAP and regulatory requirements
  • Liaising with external auditors and key stakeholders
  • Improving financial controls and reporting processes
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
  • Managing and developing junior finance team members
  • Providing technical accounting guidance across the business

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
  • Experienced within financial reporting, audit, or technical accounting
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements
  • Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident managing stakeholders across finance and the wider business
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems preferred
