The role of Interim Financial Modeller includes:

  • Building and enhancing sophisticated financial models to support business planning and decision‑making.
  • Developing detailed cash flow forecasts and liquidity planning tools.
  • Creating dynamic scenario and sensitivity analysis models.
  • Supporting covenant monitoring and forecasting.
  • Modelling the financial impact of commercial, operational and strategic scenarios.
  • Working with senior stakeholders to challenge assumptions and improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Translating large volumes of financial and operational data into meaningful insights.
  • Providing recommendations and analysis to support future growth and investment decisions.
  • Reviewing existing forecasting processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.

The ideal Interim Financial Modeller will have:

  • Proven experience delivering complex financial modelling projects.
  • Advanced Excel modelling skills.
  • Strong FP&A, commercial finance or financial modelling experience.
  • Experience developing cash flow forecasts and scenario planning models.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and quickly understand complex business drivers.
  • Hands‑on approach with a focus on delivering practical, value‑adding outputs.
  • Experience within automotive, retail, distribution or multi‑site businesses (advantageous).
