A global leader in electrical, safety, and infrastructure solutions is seeking an experienced Global Human Resources Director to lead the HR strategy for a successful and fast-growing global division. This critical role will be based in the West Midlands and will report directly to the Global Head of HR, while partnering closely with the division’s president and senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of international HR Business Partners across the UK, EU, and APAC regions.
  • Act as a strategic advisor and day-to-day business partner to divisional leadership, with a strong emphasis on talent management, organisational effectiveness, and performance development.
  • Drive improvement and accountability in HR metrics, including time-to-fill, engagement, and retention, and lead quarterly reporting of key HR KPIs.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment and talent development across global client groups.
  • Champion a performance-driven, values-based culture while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead organisational development efforts across diverse geographies and cultures.
  • Ensure timely and effective execution of all HR calendar activities, including performance reviews, leadership planning, compliance, and compensation processes.
  • Promote the company’s core values through all aspects of leadership and team development.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required); advanced education is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a global and manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience leading international HR teams and partnering with executive leadership.
  • Track record of delivering business results through strategic HR initiatives and talent development.
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and change management skills across culturally diverse teams.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with competing priorities.
  • Deep commitment to fostering a collaborative and values-driven workplace.
