Seymour Whyte is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the Creek Connect project, part of Sydney Water’s Upper South Creek Networks Program—one of Western Sydney’s largest infrastructure initiatives delivering critical wastewater networks to support the region’s rapid growth. In this role, you will support quality assurance activities across construction delivery, including audits, inspections, and monitoring contractor compliance to ensure works are delivered in line with project standards, specifications, and contractual requirements.
About the Role:
- Deliver quality audits, inspections, and surveillance across Delivery Partner activities
- Monitor and maintain compliance with QMS, ISO standards, and contract requirements
- Manage audits, non‑conformances, and corrective actions to closeout
- Support quality reporting, dashboards, and analysis of trends and risks
- Collaborate with contractors, design, and procurement teams on quality requirements
About you:
- Bachelor in Engineering or related field
- Experience in quality, audit, or assurance within construction/infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of QMS, audits, and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO)
- Analytical and detail‑oriented with strong reporting capability
- Proactive communicator able to work across multiple stakeholders
