We are seeking a Project Quality Manager to support the Heatherbrae Bypass Project and other upcoming works across Newcastle. You will take ownership of project quality systems, drive audits and compliance, and lead continuous improvement across complex infrastructure delivery. Working closely with project teams, you will mentor and influence stakeholders to deliver high quality outcomes aligned to client standards. This is a great opportunity to play a key role on major projects while shaping best practice and building strong, high performing teams.

About the Role:

  • Proven experience in quality assurance within civil construction or engineering projects
  • Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and client standards
  • Hands on in leading audits, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Confident in guiding and mentoring project teams to achieve quality outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a focus on accurate documentation

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience in quality assurance within civil construction, ideally on complex infrastructure projects
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of client standards, specifications and compliance requirements
  • Proven experience working with Quality Management Systems in a project environment
  • Solid computer skills across the Microsoft Suite to support reporting and documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across project teams
