Seymour Whyte is looking for a highly experienced Project Commercial Manager to play a key role on the Creek Connect project. This position is responsible for overseeing contractual change across the program, ensuring commercial risks are identified early and managed effectively to protect project outcomes.
Working closely with the Commercial Director and Tranche Commercial Managers, you’ll oversee Early Warnings, Compensation Events and broader change processes under the NEC4 framework, providing leadership, governance and clear commercial direction across multiple delivery contracts.
About the Role:
- Lead and coordinate NEC4 Early Warnings and Compensation Events across the program
- Identify, track and escalate contractual risks and potential change events
- Prepare and review contractual notices and change submissions to the Client
- Oversee time, cost and delay assessments supporting change entitlement
- Maintain program-wide change registers, reporting and governance processes
- Provide guidance to project teams on NEC4 change and entitlement processes
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or related field
- Strong experience managing contractual change on major infrastructure or civil projects
- Proven expertise working under NEC4 or similar collaborative contract frameworks
- Sound understanding of programme delay analysis, cost assessment and entitlement
- Confident communicator able to lead commercial alignment across multiple stakeholders
