This is a full-time hybrid role working across the UK with the yard located in Chelmsford. As a Mobile Crane Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • The safe travel of transport our 40t crane to and from site
  • Safe operating of the crane
  • Conducting lifting operations
  • Performing equipment inspections

You will work across various construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient use of heavy and lifting equipment. With this role, you must be reliable and willing to stay away from home from time to time, with occasional European travel and stay with its own benefits per European job. You must be flexible and willing to work weekends when required.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Lifting Operations and expertise in crane operation
  • Experience with Heavy Equipment and Lifting Equipment
  • Knowledge of Inspection procedures for cranes and lifting gear
  • Strong understanding and adherence to safety standards in construction environments
  • Possession of relevant certifications, such as CPCS Crane Supervisor or Slinger certifications
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model, with occasional on-site presence in Chelmsford
  • Prior experience in large-scale construction environments is a plus
  • Class 2 lorry
