About the Role:
Seymour John is supporting an international subsidiary who seek to recruit a dedicated Part-Time HR Manager. In this newly created role, you will lead on recruitment, onboarding, employee welfare, and training initiatives, while ensuring the organisation remains compliant with all employment legislation. You’ll be a key advisor to management on HR policies and play a vital role in shaping a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
- Manage the employee performance appraisal system
- Design and oversee company-wide training programmes
- Ensure compliance with HR regulations via external advisors
- Review and enhance HR policies and procedures
- Administer employee benefits and manage staff welfare
- Handle disciplinary actions and formal grievance processes
- Liaise with external payroll providers to manage monthly salaries
- Oversee the company pension scheme
- Drive improvements in the employee experience
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in an HR management or senior HR role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
- Discreet and professional when handling sensitive matters
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
- CIPD qualification (preferred)
