The Company
Seymour John are delighted to be exclusively supporting a well-established and purpose-driven business to recruit an experienced HR Administrator. This is a brand-new role within the Group based at their head office offering a collaborative and supportive working environment where continuous improvement and colleague experience are central to their people strategy.
The Opportunity
As HR Administrator you will provide proactive and efficient support across all stages of the colleague lifecycle. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, coordinating HR processes, and supporting both employees. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR professional who enjoys improving systems and processes and who is ready to bring fresh ideas with your key responsibilities to include:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases
- Prepare employment contracts, letters, and other HR documentation
- Coordinate recruitment administration including job postings, interview arrangements, offers, and onboarding
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
- Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Support training administration including scheduling, attendance tracking, and reporting
- Produce routine and ad-hoc HR reports for management
- Help implement and improve HR policies, processes, and internal guidance materials
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
Your Profile
- Previous experience in a busy HR administrative role
- Strong working knowledge of HR procedures and the employee lifecycle
- High attention to detail, excellent organisation, and time management skills
- Comfortable working with sensitive data and maintaining confidentiality
- Proactive and collaborative approach with a can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Keen to improve systems and processes, not just follow them
Hours and Benefits
- Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00, fully site-based, 35 hour week
- 20 days annual leave increased by one day each calendar year up to 25 days plus bank holidays
